A Nokia device with 800 x 600 resolution ?

Today afternoon while I was going through the stats of this blog on Statcounter, I noticed a visitor from USA used a Nokia device with Symbian OS and 800 x 600 resolution to access the data.

I remember reading a post earlier somewhere about the inability of Symbian OS to handle resolutions above 640 x360. Nokia N900 has a resolution of 800 x 480 but thats Maemo not symbian. I also read about rumors of a Nokia E6 device with a VGA resolution. But 800 x 600 resolution- never heard of.

So what is this? Is that an error made by the Statcounter ?. I don't know. Until now they served me right.

As symbian OS is an opensource one it can be used by any  hardware manufacturer. But you can see in the below screenshot that device is from nokia itself. Then what is this device?

Is that a tablet?. I don't think so. When all other major manufacturers are using resolutions more than 1024 x 768 or more, I honestly don't think Nokia will decorate the late arrival with an inferior device.

Forgot to mention about the standard of spelling in the Google search string. It is terrible for someone  from USA. So I did a reverse IP check and confirmed that it is in fact from Texas.

Also the search is done to find GPRS settings of BSNL which is a company operated by Indian Government and does not provide service outside the country.

I am sorry I don't even have a wild guess of what the device could be. Big guys from tech industry may be able to find it. Let's hope they do so.
